Description

The Pulsar Retrograde Angle Cut Banger is made from quality quartz material that withstands high temperatures and has excellent heat retention. This slanted top bucket design makes it easier to scoop your concentrates into the banger without the risk of burning yourself. As an added bonus, a carb cap isn't necessarily required since this design allows more airflow into the banger's bucket. Each banger has a 90 degree joint angle and a 14mm male connection.

They done changed it! 14mm not as pictured!

I was excited to see the 14mm on sale for $7, so I grabbed several. I held one of the new ones next to my old one and realized what I got was not the same as what it once was. The old banger has thick walls on the bucket and the inside of the stem is wide enough to fit a qtip. The new banger has super thin walls for the bucket and the stem is much smaller in diameter, too small to fit a qtip, which doesn't bode well for cleaning. The angle at the top of the bucket is much shallower as well. It is basically flat where the old version had a nice, steep incline. The adapter, indeed, fits the same 14mm opening as my old one, but this new one is completely different. Not what I was expecting. If you have bought these in years past and need a new one, be aware that you're not getting the same thing anymore.

14mm Male Quartz Banger

I love the looks of this nail! I haven't been able to try it yet, but I know if I don't leave a review now, chances are I will forget and never leave one. The flame polished look is beautiful and the pulsar logo etched on the side is an awesome touch. The only complaint I have is that the "bucket" is a little crooked and where some of the quartz was fused together is a little sloppy, but nothing too bad at all. Especially for 17.99, you can't beat this. Like I said, I haven't been able to try it yet, but I'm sure as far as heat retention goes, it will work great because I have used plenty Pulsar products, including their "diamond knot" nail and a pulsar rig with one of their quartz swing down buckets on it. So I'm not too worried! Thanks, Pulsar! Free shipping was fast and the customer service was prompt and replied super quickly .
